Good evening all,

Got the writing bug tonight, I decided to take this time to enjoy this beautiful weather and realized that so many beautiful things can come from a rainy day. For one, California ends the period of the draught temporarily. Rain can also correlate with being healthy because rain should never be an excuse to go after what you want and love no matter what it is. Rain can water the beautiful plants , flowers, and grass in order to see the natural beauty of the blooming garden or the trees growing to their essence. Water is essential for life to survive.

Many people find it annoying especially since people cannot drive when they see a sprinkle, but I take the other approach when I see a sprinkle I see hope of all things that were dead or dying coming back to life and living their purpose. They are to look beautiful in the lawn or fill the house full of light. Many activities are possible with this beautiful rain such as bringing out that kid at heart inside so you can dance and stomp in the rain. Some of the activities that I love are cuddling with a significant other, family, warming up in the covers and putting a movie on, or even doing a full body workout. I am reminded of a children’s song “Rain, rain go away come again another day, but for me it can comeback anytime because in the long run you are the creator of your own life whatever chapter you choose. If you choose to focus on all the things wrong with the rain then chances are what you focus on expands therefore, it can become a domino effect.

However,  some people choose to see the light at the end of the tunnel therefore, enjoy the rain and all its beauty that it has to offer. Water is healthy in every sense of the word because you need it to hydrate, for plants to grow, home environment for animals, and also brings peace. Water represents serenity and calmness therefore perfect for meditation or even reflection such as taking a nature walk near a pond, river, or sea on everything you are grateful for and realizing what is the next step in your career, relationship, healthy lifestyle, or greater purpose. Rain makes me happy because as a kid you are with no care in the world and truly unleash what it is in your heart then slowly as you gradually grow you figure out what your true purpose is in life. The vision becomes clearer and no longer blurry then you will know you have reached your definition of happiness.

As always please share your best rain stories, remember you define your life and write your own story don’t wait to create someone else’s dreams.
